Tecnosky Apo SLD 152/1216 Lanthanum Refractor

DESCRIPTION

The Tecnosky Apo SLD 152/1216 Lanthanum is a triplet apochromatic refractor combining FPL-51 and Lanthanum low dispersion glass. This configuration ensures excellent chromatic correction.

It features a thermally stable optical cell, a well-baffled and fully blackened interior, and multiple knife-edge diaphragms to eliminate internal reflections. Despite its aperture, the tube remains compact and weighs only 13 kg.

It is equipped with a 3.7" rack and pinion focuser featuring a 1:10 fine reduction knob and supports up to 7 kg. This focuser rotates and includes a dedicated field rotator with M100x1, M92x1 and M68x1 threads to fit flatteners or accessories.

By removing the extension between the tube and the focuser, it becomes compatible with binoviewers without requiring additional optical correctors. The 2" and 1.25" eyepiece holders use self-centering clamps for perfect alignment.

Compatible with Tecnosky full-frame correctors 1x, 0.79x and 0.72x, this refractor is extremely versatile. It allows operation at native f/8, f/6.4 with the 0.79x corrector, and down to f/5.76 with the 0.72x version.

In visual use, it excels on the Moon, planets, double stars, and even deep sky targets thanks to its large aperture.
