The Askar 0.74x reducer for the 131F is specifically designed for the Askar 131F refractor. It reduces the focal length to 733.6 mm and the focal ratio to f/5.6 to provide a wider imaging field and faster acquisition speed. Compatible with full-frame sensors, it maintains excellent optical correction for deep-sky astrophotography.

The Askar 0.74x Reducer for 131F is a dedicated reducer developed exclusively for the Askar 131F refractor. Designed to optimize astrophotography performance, it reduces the focal length of the 131F to 733.6 mm and lowers the native focal ratio to f/5.6, improving image brightness and field coverage for deep-sky imaging applications.
The optical system uses a triplet design including ED glass to preserve excellent chromatic correction and high image quality across the entire field. Compatible with full-frame sensors, it maintains sharp and consistent stars extending to the edges of the image.
The reducer features a 55 mm backfocus measured from the base of the M48 male thread, simplifying integration with standard astrophotography imaging configurations. Its mechanical design includes M72×1 threads, M54×0.75 and M48×0.75 adapters together with an integrated 2-inch filter thread for broad compatibility with astronomy cameras and photographic accessories.
The mechanical construction benefits from precision CNC machining and a refined finish consistent with the Askar product range. Installation is performed directly onto the dedicated photographic extension tube of the 131F using the manufacturer mounting system.
Designed to maximize the imaging capabilities of the Askar 131F, this 0.74x reducer provides an optimized solution for astrophotographers seeking a wider field of view, reduced exposure times and excellent optical performance.
