Designed to connect an M82x1 female thread to accessories or cameras with an M48x0.75 female thread, this TS-Optics adapter adds only 2 mm of effective optical length. It is suitable, among others, for the APM Riccardi 0.75x reducer and corrector.
Designed for imaging configurations where every millimeter of backfocus matters, this TS-Optics adapter converts an M82x1 female connection into an M48x0.75 male interface.
Its extremely short construction limits the effective optical length to only 2 mm, excluding the external threads. This makes it particularly useful when only minimal mechanical spacing can be added to the imaging train.
On the telescope side, a 5 mm long M82x1 male thread provides the connection. It can, for example, be screwed directly into the M82x1 female thread of the APM Riccardi 0.75x reducer and corrector.
On the camera side, a 4 mm long M48x0.75 male thread allows adapters, rings or imaging equipment with an M48x0.75 female thread to be attached.
This configuration therefore provides a direct transition between M82x1 and M48x0.75 while adding very little mechanical length to the optical train.
