This eyepiece is internally purged with dry argon gas and fully waterproof. This construction ensures protection from internal condensation and enhances thermal stability over time. The optical system is treated with 15-layer Enhanced Multi-Layer Deposition (EMD) coatings across all air-to-glass surfaces to maximise light transmission and contrast while reducing stray reflections.
Edge-blackened elements help suppress internal light scatter, ensuring that contrast and sharpness are preserved across the entire field of view. A foldable rubber eyecup and long eye relief make this eyepiece comfortable for all users, including those who wear glasses.
