DESCRIPTION
The Hyperion Zoom Mark IV is Baader's fourth-generation variable focal length eyepiece. It covers 8 to 24 mm with five defined ClickStop positions for quick switching between magnifications—especially useful with binoviewers. The optical system is optimized for maximum magnification with 7 elements in 4 groups, and is fully coated with Phantom Coating™ for high contrast and virtually zero reflections.
Both 1¼" and 2" barrels are included, along with three interchangeable eyecups (adjustable height, low-profile, and foldable winged). The M43 photo thread enables direct attachment of video cameras or digital cameras using optional T2/M43 adapters.
The Mark IV supports afocal and classic eyepiece projection and is fully parfocal across all focal lengths. It also pairs with the Baader 2.25x Barlow (optional) to provide a 3.6 to 10.7 mm range. Its compact 55 mm body is compatible with binoviewers and spotting scopes, aided by the included adapter rings A and B.
