The Explore Scientific 100° Ar 9mm eyepiece offers a sweeping 100° apparent field of view, allowing immersive high-power observation with minimal repositioning. Ideal for planetary detail and deep-sky structure.
Its 9-element, 6-group optical design delivers exceptional sharpness and contrast, with full EMD multi-coating to enhance light transmission and suppress stray light. The eyepiece is IPX7-rated waterproof and argon-purged for internal protection against fog, dust, and mold—submersible up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.
A foldable rubber eyecup enhances comfort, and the robust stainless steel construction ensures long-term durability. Fits all standard 2" focusers.
