Description:
The Explore Scientific 100° Ar 5.5mm eyepiece offers an expansive 100° apparent field of view, enabling a truly immersive observing experience at high magnification. Its ultra-wide angle minimizes the need to reposition objects constantly.
The eyepiece features a sophisticated 8-element, 6-group optical design and fully multi-coated optics (EMD) for excellent contrast. Internally sealed and filled with dry argon gas, it complies with IPX7 waterproof standards—submersible to 1 meter for 30 minutes—protecting it from internal fogging, dust, and fungus.
The body is made of durable stainless steel, and it includes a soft rubber foldable eyecup for eye comfort. It fits all standard 2" focusers.
