Description:
The Explore Scientific 68° Ar 28mm eyepiece (2") combines a long focal length and a generous 68° apparent field, delivering immersive views of extended deep-sky targets such as open clusters, nebulae and rich star fields.
Its waterproof construction and argon filling prevent internal fogging, mold and dust buildup. All optical surfaces are treated with 15-layer Enhanced Multi-Layer Deposition (EMD) coatings to ensure maximum light transmission and minimal reflections.
Edge-blackened lenses help to reduce internal scattering, increasing contrast and clarity across the entire field. A long eye relief and foldable rubber eyecup ensure optimal viewing comfort, even for eyeglass wearers.
Built from stainless steel with high precision, this eyepiece is part of the Explore Scientific 68° Series, offering performance and durability at an excellent value.
