Celestron EdgeHD 1100 11 inch used in very good cosmetic and functional condition, combined with a PrimaLuceLab Sesto Senso 2 robotic focuser already installed on the optical tube. Total new value is 3648 CHF and the set is offered at 2150 CHF.

The optical tube uses a Schmidt Cassegrain design with 280 mm aperture and 2800 mm focal length at F D 10. An internal 42 mm field corrector made of Schott glass corrects coma and spherical aberration across a field suitable for full frame 24 x 36 mm sensors. Stars remain sharp across the entire field with high contrast and no false color.

The long focal length allows high magnification for detailed planetary observation and study of bright deep sky objects such as galaxies, nebulae and star clusters. Under stable seeing conditions, fine details are visible on Jupiter, Saturn, the Moon and Mars.

Fastar compatibility allows removal of the secondary mirror and installation of an optional HyperStar system, reducing focal ratio to F D 2 and focal length to 560 mm. This configuration enables very fast wide field astrophotography.

Focusing is achieved via the rear knob with ball bearing support to reduce mirror shift. Mirror locks secure the primary mirror during long exposures. Rear vents with filters allow thermal stabilization while preventing dust ingress.

Optical coatings include StarBright XLT on mirrors and MgF2 coating on the corrector plate for maximum light transmission and contrast.

PrimaLuceLab Sesto Senso 2 provides vibration free robotic focusing. Control is available via USB C from a computer or EAGLE system and via integrated WiFi using smartphone or tablet through the Virtual HandPad. Self Centering Clamp allows direct installation without brackets. Precision of 0.7 micron is specified. ARCO port, dimmable LEDs, 12 V power and temperature sensor port are included.

Motor is already installed on the telescope, allowing immediate use.
