A high-quality tripod for heavy mounts that are portably used however.
The tripod is of a low-profile type and thus usable for Newtonians.
The integrated pier hub prevents the telescope from colliding with a tripod leg. Thus the meridian flip can be carried out later. That is especially important in astrophotography.
