The Explore Scientific 30 mm 100° Ar eyepiece delivers unmatched wide-field views with an apparent field of 100°, perfect for panoramic deep-sky exploration. With its long focal length, it allows large sections of the sky to be captured in a single frame, while offering comfortable viewing even during extended observing sessions.
Its premium 10-element / 7-group optical system is fully multi-coated with Enhanced Multilayer Deposition (EMD) coatings, ensuring high contrast and excellent light throughput. The massive 3" (76.2 mm) stainless steel barrel offers great mechanical stability. This eyepiece is waterproof (IPX7 rated) and filled with dry argon gas to prevent internal fogging and fungal growth.
