DESCRIPTION
The Baader Hyperion 5 mm 68° modular eyepiece is designed for excellent performance at high magnification, delivering sharp and comfortable views with a generous 20 mm eye relief. With an apparent field of 68°, it’s suitable for planetary and lunar observation, or detailed deep-sky targets.
Its modular design includes M43 and SP54 threads on the eye side for camera and accessory adaptation. T2 adaptation is possible via the M43/T-2 ring, and digital cameras with fixed lenses can be mounted using the SP54 thread. It is also compatible with Zeiss Diascope spotting scopes using the Baader 2454500 adapter.
Fine-tuning of the focal length is possible using optional 14 mm and 28 mm extension rings. Standard 1¼" astronomical filters can be mounted directly into the barrel. The optional Stop Ring (#2958097) allows repeated insertion with perfect focus in 2" focusers.
The eyepiece features 8 lenses in 5 groups, multi-coated with Baader’s Phantom Group Coating®. Delivered with protective caps, folding eyecup, and a leatherette pouch.
