DESCRIPTION

The iOptron GEM45 is a next-gen German equatorial mount with exceptional payload-to-weight ratio. Weighing just 17.5 lbs (7.9 kg), it supports up to 45 lbs (20 kg) of gear. Thanks to its built-in iPolar scope, polar alignment is fast and accurate, even when Polaris is not visible.

The mount includes precision stepper motors, permanent PEC, internal cable management, and a Go2Nova controller with 212,000+ objects. Its quick-lock gear clutches allow comfortable setup in any condition. 

USB and ST-4 ports, GPS module, and optional Wi-Fi (iStarFi) expand control capabilities through computer or mobile device.
