The iOptron HAE69C EC AZ/EQ SWG is a next-generation dual-mode mount using Strain Wave Gear technology on both RA and DEC axes. It achieves an outstanding weight-to-payload ratio, supporting up to 31 kg of payload for a total mount weight of just 9 kg.
Its CNC-machined, all-metal black anodized body provides rigidity and durability. The integrated high-precision RA encoder with real-time periodic error correction (RPEC) ensures smooth and accurate tracking, often eliminating the need for guiding.
This “C” version includes an internal main control board and operates without a handset. USB ports on the mount base and saddle provide direct connection for computer control and firmware updates, while built-in Wi-Fi enables convenient wireless operation.
Other features include an electronic friction brake for safe stopping during power loss, an integrated ST-4 autoguiding port, a dual Vixen/Losmandy-D saddle, and automatic zero position search.
The Go2Nova 8411 OLED handset and iPolar electronic polar scope are available as optional accessories. Combining power, technology, and precision, the HAE69C EC is designed for demanding astrophotographers seeking top-tier performance.
