Description:
The Sky-Watcher Evostar-100ED DS-Pro with 0.85x reducer is a premium refractor designed for demanding visual observers and astrophotographers alike. The 100 mm f/9 optical tube features a high-grade FPL-53 ED doublet lens that delivers excellent color correction and sharpness.
This apochromatic refractor produces stunningly clear, high-contrast images with minimal chromatic aberration, making it perfect for lunar, planetary, and bright deep-sky observing.
The included 0.85x reducer/flattener shortens the focal length to 765 mm (f/7.65) while flattening the field, making it ideal for wide-field astrophotography with APS-C sensors. This improves brightness, reduces exposure times, and delivers pin-sharp stars across the frame.
The OTA is equipped with a 2" Crayford dual-speed focuser (1:10), retractable dew shield, and comes complete with a sturdy carrying case, tube rings, Vixen-style dovetail bar, and an optical finder.
