Tecnosky SharpGuide 70 Guiding Telescope

DESCRIPTION

The Tecnosky SharpGuide 70 is a high-performance guiding telescope designed for precise autoguiding with setups reaching up to 1700 mm in focal length. It features a 70 mm air-spaced achromatic doublet with full multi-coating (FMC), offering a well-corrected image and a fast focal ratio of f/5.7 for excellent compactness and brightness.

Unlike standard guide scopes, the SharpGuide 70 can also serve as a portable refractor or spotting scope. It includes a micrometric helical focuser with a non-rotating design for precise adjustments and compatibility with various imaging accessories. A threaded adjustment ring near the objective allows for extended back focus, supporting the use of diagonals, flip-mirrors, and more.

The tube is equipped with a pair of adjustable rings mounted on a base compatible with finder brackets from Sky-Watcher, GSO, Celestron, Orion, and similar brands. Additionally, two extra screw holes on the tube allow direct mounting of a Vixen-style dovetail bar for more rigid attachment as a fixed scope or portable travel refractor.
