The Baader UHC-L 1.25" filter is designed to improve the contrast of nebulae in both visual observation and astrophotography. It reduces light pollution from LED sources while transmitting essential signal bands between 470–520 nm and 625–685 nm.
Optimized for CMOS and CCD sensors, it also acts as a luminance filter by blocking UV and IR, making it ideal for refractors without built-in UV/IR filters.
Its optical glass is finely polished, multi-coated with Baader’s Life-Coat™ dielectric layer, and housed in a threaded M28.5 frame. Durable and easy to clean, it is built for long-term performance.
