Description:
The Baader ASSF 65 solar filter offers a reliable and safe solution for observing or photographing the Sun with spotting scopes, binoculars, or DSLR lenses. It uses the original Baader AstroSolar Safety Film with an optical density of 5.0, ensuring uniform and distortion-free filtration.
Designed for optics with outer diameters between 70 and 85 mm, the ASSF 65 includes 13 mm diameter, 24 mm long centering bolts, as well as safety Velcro straps. The filter frame has a 65 mm optical aperture and 125 mm total outer diameter, making it lightweight yet secure for solar observation.
This filter is a high-quality accessory for both visual and photographic use, provided it is used according to Baader’s safety instructions.
