The iOptron HEM15 mount redefines portability and performance in astrophotography. Weighing only 5.5 lbs, this hybrid equatorial mount supports up to 15.4 lbs of payload without counterweights.
It combines a state-of-the-art strain wave gear for right ascension with a backlash-free worm/belt system for declination. The CNC-machined all-metal body ensures long-term mechanical stability and attractive design.
Key safety features such as an electronic friction brake and power-down memory protect your GoTo sessions even during unexpected power loss.
Equipped with the iPolar electronic polar scope, polar alignment is fast and precise. The HEM15 can be controlled via PC (ASCOM/Commander), smartphone/tablet (Commander Lite or SkySafari), or a Raspberry Pi (INDI).
