ZWO ASI678MC Color Camera – High Resolution for Planetary Imaging

Description:
The ZWO ASI678MC is a compact, uncooled color camera designed for planetary imaging, high-resolution lunar and solar work, and EAA (Electronically Assisted Astronomy). It features the Sony IMX678 CMOS sensor with STARVIS 2 back-illuminated technology, offering excellent sensitivity and low read noise.

With a sensor size of 1/1.8", 3840 x 2160 pixel resolution and 2.0 µm pixels, the ASI678MC delivers stunning detail and smooth video at up to 47.5 frames per second in full resolution (RAW8). This performance makes it equally well suited for real-time observing, streaming, and monitoring applications.

The camera includes a high-speed USB 3.0 interface and a standard ST4 port for guiding. Its amp-glow suppression circuit ensures cleaner long-exposure images with minimal background glow. Thanks to its extended sensitivity into the near-infrared, it also works well for all-sky and night monitoring purposes.
