Description:
The Tecnosky AG60 is a highly compact, fast astrograph tailored for mobile deep-sky astrophotography. Inheriting the design logic of the AG70, it features a 4-element apochromatic design offering a fully corrected field for sensors up to 44 mm diagonal (APS-C and beyond).
The optical train includes an FPL-55 + Lanthanum doublet and a field flattener close to the focus point. The backfocus tolerance is flexible, from 41 to 61 mm. The telescope connects to imaging gear via M48 male or M54 female threads.
A precision 2.5" rack-and-pinion focuser includes a rotator, 10:1 reduction, and a 4-point tilt adjuster. A retractable dew shield helps reduce the footprint for easy storage and travel.
At just 270 mm long (with dew shield retracted) and weighing 2700 to 3150 g depending on configuration, it’s ideal for lightweight mounts such as iOptron SkyHunter, SkyGuider Pro, or Star Adventurer GTi. The 250 mm Vixen-style dovetail bar incorporates an Arca Swiss plate and multiple 1/4" threaded holes. The Arca Swiss handle can also be removed, revealing M4 threads for a secondary finder bracket.
Note: this astrograph is designed exclusively for astrophotography. It is not compatible with visual accessories like star diagonals.
