Description

The Celestron StarSense Explorer LT 70AZ refractor uses your smartphone to recognize the sky and guide you to celestial objects. The patented LISA Lost in Space Algorithm compares real star patterns to a database. The app displays arrows to move the telescope and when the bullseye turns green the target is in the eyepiece.

Fully coated glass optics provide bright sharp views of planets star clusters brighter nebulae and double stars. The erect image diagonal enables daytime observation of landscapes birds and wildlife. Aluminum optical tube length is 812.8 mm and diameter 76 mm.

The manual altazimuth mount features altitude slow motion control via sliding rod and the full height tripod includes an accessory tray. Total kit weight is about 3.35 kg for easy portability. Software included StarSense Explorer App SkyPortal and Celestron Starry Night Basic Edition.
