The iOptron HAE43C AZ/EQ SWG is a hybrid Alt-Az/Equatorial mount featuring advanced Strain Wave Gear technology. This harmonic drive system provides smooth and accurate tracking while keeping the structure light, strong, and quiet.
Weighing just 5.7 kg, it supports payloads up to 20 kg without counterweights, achieving an impressive 3.51 payload-to-weight ratio. The CNC-machined, black-anodized aluminum construction ensures durability and precision.
This “C” model is designed for full computer control and does not include a handset or iPolar scope. It connects easily via USB-C or Wi-Fi and works with ASCOM/Commander (Windows) or INDI (Mac OS).
The mount features an electronic friction brake for safety during power interruptions, an integrated ST-4 autoguiding port, and a dual Vixen/Losmandy-D saddle.
Compact, accurate, and modern, the HAE43C is ideal for astronomers who prefer a clean, efficient, and fully digital control setup.
