Description:
The iOptron HAE29C-EC dual AZ/EQ mount is a lightweight, high-performance system designed for mobile observing and imaging setups. Featuring strain wave gear on both RA and DEC axes, it supports alt-azimuth and equatorial configurations.
Weighing only 8.15 lbs (3.7 kg with saddle), it can carry up to 29.7 lbs (13.5 kg) without counterweights, or up to 40 lbs (18 kg) with optional counterweights. A high-precision RA axis encoder and real-time PEC enhance tracking accuracy for guided or unguided imaging.
The mount can be controlled via built-in USB or Wi-Fi using iOptron Commander (Windows), INDI drivers (Linux/macOS/Raspberry Pi), or compatible mobile apps. The Go2Nova® 8411 hand controller is available as an option.
