The ZWO FF107 is a high-performance apochromatic refractor featuring a 107 mm aperture and 750 mm focal length. Its quadruplet design includes a front triplet objective with two ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass elements and an integrated rear field flattener, providing a perfectly flat 44 mm image circle—ideal for full-frame astrophotography sensors.
Designed for both high-resolution imaging and observation, the FF107 excels in visual clarity and chromatic correction. It offers crisp views of the Moon, Saturn’s rings with the Cassini Division, Jupiter’s cloud belts and Great Red Spot, Venus’ phases, and numerous deep-sky objects. A good Barlow lens enhances its planetary performance.
In astrophotography, it delivers sharp, contrast-rich images with pinpoint stars across the field. The flat imaging plane makes it a perfect match for large nebulae, galaxy fields, and open clusters.
Its 3.4" rack & pinion focuser, mounted on a linear rail and equipped with 1:10 micro-fine adjustment, ensures excellent stability and focusing precision. A 360° rotator at the focuser’s rear helps framing the target object easily.
The retractable dew shield reduces transport size to 603 mm. The optical tube is equipped with a Vixen-type dovetail, an ergonomic carrying handle, and six screw-on adapters (M48, M52, M54, M68), plus a 2" to 1.25" visual reducer.
