DESCRIPTION
The Celestron NexYZ 3-Axis adapter is a comprehensive digiscoping and astrophotography solution. It mounts your smartphone onto a wide variety of optical devices, including telescopes with 1.25” or 2” eyepieces, spotting scopes, binoculars, monoculars, and microscopes using the included adapter rings.

The spring-loaded eyepiece clamp with lock knob secures the unit to eyepieces from 35 to 60 mm in diameter (down to 25 mm with adapter rings). NexYZ supports virtually all smartphones (up to 90 mm wide) and typically accommodates them without needing to remove the phone case.

Three knobs control precise movements along the X, Y, and Z axes, allowing perfect alignment between your phone’s camera and the eyepiece within seconds. This patented system makes it faster and more precise than traditional two-axis models. The adapter’s rugged construction (cast metal and fiber-reinforced polymer) ensures durability for frequent outdoor use.

You can switch from portrait to landscape orientation by rotating the eyepiece clamp and re-centering the phone with the knobs. Swapping phones or optical instruments only requires minor realignment. NexYZ is perfect for group astronomy sessions or birdwatching walks where multiple users may want to capture images.
