DESCRIPTION
The Sky-Watcher Startravel 80 AZ3 is a lightweight, short-tube achromatic refractor designed for sweeping views of the night sky. With an 80 mm aperture and 400 mm focal length (f/5), it offers bright, wide-field images ideal for observing star clusters, nebulae, bright galaxies, and even comets.
Thanks to its 45° erect-image diagonal, the telescope is also well-suited for daytime terrestrial use, providing upright, non-inverted images. The AZ3 alt-azimuth mount ensures intuitive operation with fine motion control in both azimuth and altitude axes via flexible slow-motion cables.
Included are two Plössl eyepieces (12.5 mm and 26 mm), a 2x Barlow lens, a red dot finder, a 1.25" erecting diagonal, the AZ3 mount, and a sturdy aluminium tripod with an accessory tray.
