DESCRIPTION

The Celestron NexStar Evolution 8 HD combines a 203 mm EdgeHD optical tube, a motorized single-arm GoTo mount, integrated StarSense AutoAlign, WiFi control and a built-in LiFePO4 battery for up to 10 hours of continuous use.

The EdgeHD optics deliver a coma-free, flat-field image ideal for full-frame sensors. The telescope is Fastar compatible for f/2 wide-field imaging with optional third-party accessories. StarBright XLT coatings ensure high transmission and contrast.

The StarSense AutoAlign module automatically detects the sky pattern and aligns the telescope in minutes. When connected via SkyPortal powered by SkySafari™, the full alignment and object control is wireless from your smartphone or tablet.

The NexStar Evolution mount includes 4 AUX ports, USB port, 38 mm stainless steel tripod, illuminated accessory tray, worm gears, 9 tracking speeds up to 4°/s, alt-az and EQ tracking modes (with wedge), and a fully integrated rechargeable LiFePO4 battery.

Kit includes two Plössl eyepieces (40 mm and 13 mm), 1.25" diagonal, visual back, StarPointer Pro™, StarSense module with hand controller, power supply and software.
