DESCRIPTION

The Sky-Watcher Startravel 120 is a 2-element air-spaced achromatic refractor designed for wide-field astronomical and terrestrial observation. With its short 600 mm focal length (f/5), this telescope excels in capturing large sky areas like open clusters, nebulae, or comets. It's also a great tool for solar and lunar photography (with proper filters) as well as terrestrial imaging.

Its 120 mm aperture ensures good light gathering for visual use and short-exposure photography. Mounted on the EQ3-2 equatorial mount, it offers solid stability and accurate manual tracking. The mount can be upgraded with optional motors or GoTo systems. Fine controls via flexible slow-motion cables allow precise targeting.

This complete set includes a red dot finder, two eyepieces (10 mm & 25 mm), a 2x Barlow lens with photo thread, a 1.25" diagonal, and a stable aluminum tripod with accessory tray.
