DESCRIPTION
The Celestron off-axis guider is a must-have tool for precise guiding in long focal length astrophotography. It uses a 12.5 mm prism to intercept part of the telescope’s light path, directing it to a guide camera. Any deviation observed in the guide star is identical to what the main imaging camera experiences, eliminating tracking and flexure errors.
Celestron’s OAG solves traditional issues: the adjustable large prism allows finding brighter guide stars, the fixed-orientation helical focuser provides smooth focusing without camera twist, and it includes all necessary adapters for most setups (DSLR, CCD, CMOS).
Ideal for use with Schmidt-Cassegrain and EdgeHD telescopes, the OAG supports up to 48 mm full-frame sensors with no vignetting.
Included accessories:
Adapters for SCT/EdgeHD, female M48, female M42 (T-thread), male M48, male M42 (T-thread), 3 T-thread spacers, 1.25" autoguider adapter.
