DESCRIPTION

This 2-inch focuser is built for compatibility with Celestron optical tubes from C14 down to C5, thanks to its included 2" and 3.3" adapters. The 30 mm focusing travel is complemented by a compact mechanical profile, balancing minimal backfocus with maximum stability.

The innovative diamond-based gear drive eliminates backlash, flex, or slippage, even with payloads up to 6 kg. A zero-shift locking mechanism holds focus precisely without disturbing the optical alignment. S58 dovetail clamp allows direct thread adaptation to T-2, M48, or M68 accessories with optional adapters.

Constructed from CNC-machined metal with precision rollers and oversized inner clearance (55 mm), the BDS-SC provides outstanding optical performance and adaptability. Optional Steeldrive motorization system adds temperature-compensated focus control.
