Long description :
The LUNT LS40THa/B1200 is a complete H-Alpha telescope designed for visual observation of the Sun. Its 40 mm aperture and 400 mm focal length offer detailed, unobstructed views of the solar surface, including prominences, flares, and filaments.
The etalon is mechanically tilt-tuned. The <0.7 Å bandwidth enables fine detail in H-Alpha. The blocking filter B1200 is housed in a 1.25" star diagonal with a helical focuser, suitable for standard eyepieces.
Its compact format also makes it a great travel telescope. The B1200 version provides a wider field of view than B500 or B600 variants, making it optimal for visual use.

Additional information :
The LS40THa/B1200 is optimized for visual H-Alpha observation. The B1200 version allows a larger field of view than B500 or B600. Due to the short back focus, astrophotography is limited. Cameras with short sensor distance are recommended.
