Description:
The Baader T-2 90° Prism Diagonal (part no. 2456005K) features a 32mm clear aperture precision glass prism for excellent image contrast and minimal light scatter. It is designed for planetary and double-star observation using SCTs or refractors with focal ratios longer than f/7.
The prism is multi-coated and housed in a CNC-machined aluminum body, ensuring the glass remains precisely aligned. This model includes a 1.25" nosepiece (T2-14) and a premium 1.25" eyepiece holder (EYEHOLD-2) with brass compression ring and a rotating helical focuser.
Its compact optical path of just 64mm makes it ideal for setups where backfocus is limited, such as with binoviewers, short-tube Newtonians, or fork-mounted scopes. The nosepiece and eyepiece holder are removable and compatible with Baader’s T-2 modular system.
Note: As with all mirror and prism star diagonals, image is upright but left-right reversed.
