Description:

The ZWO 0.75x focal reducer is specifically designed for the ZWO FF65 apochromatic refractor. It transforms the telescope into a fast, wide-field astrograph, perfect for deep-sky imaging. By reducing the focal length from 416 mm to 312 mm, it lowers the focal ratio from F/6.4 to F/4.8, allowing faster exposures and broader fields of view.

The 3-element optical design includes an ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass lens for excellent chromatic correction and sharp stars across the entire image. This combination ensures pinpoint stars even at the edges of large sensors.

The reducer mounts directly into the M58 x 0.75 mm female thread at the back of the FF65’s focuser. On the camera side, users can connect via standard M48 x 0.75 mm male thread, or via a supplied adapter with M54 x 0.75 mm male thread. This adapter also features an internal M48 thread to accept 2" filters.

The recommended backfocus is 55 mm from the M48 thread. All optical surfaces are fully multi-coated for optimal transmission and minimal internal reflections.
