DESCRIPTION
The TS-Optics M90x1 flange is used to correct tilt issues caused by camera sensors or slightly misaligned optics. It is specifically designed for RC telescopes with M90x1 rear threads, such as those from GSO or AstroTech. The adapter features a female M90x1 thread on the telescope side and a male M90x1 thread on the camera side. It introduces a minimum optical path length of 15 mm. With three fine-pitch screws, users can tilt the imaging train slightly to make the sensor perfectly orthogonal to the optical axis. Once aligned, dedicated locking screws fix the position permanently. This correction eliminates stretched stars in the corners of images, which are often caused by uneven tilt. The internal baffles are blackened to reduce stray reflections. Adjustment requires two hex keys (3 mm and 2 mm, not included). Once properly set, the adapter should remain fixed in orientation relative to the sensor.
