The Explore Scientific 68° Ar 24mm eyepiece (1.25") delivers immersive and contrast-rich views for wide-field astronomical observations. Its 24 mm focal length and 68° apparent field make it ideal for extended deep-sky objects such as nebulae, star clusters and galaxies.

This fully waterproof eyepiece is filled with dry argon gas to prevent internal fogging, dust and mold. Every air-to-glass surface is coated with a 15-layer Enhanced Multi-Layer Deposition (EMD) coating for high light transmission and minimal stray reflections.

The edges of the lenses are blackened to suppress internal light scatter and maximize contrast across the field. A long eye relief combined with a foldable rubber eyecup ensures comfortable use, even with eyeglasses.
