DESCRIPTION
The Baader Morpheus 17.5 mm eyepiece delivers a wide and sharp 76° apparent field of view, with outstanding edge-to-edge definition. Its internal design consists of 8 lenses in 5 groups, including one ED and two lanthanum elements, achieving extremely low distortion and high contrast across the entire image.
With a long eye relief of 23 mm and a body diameter of just 55 mm, it is optimized for binoviewing, including for users with smaller interpupillary distances. The eyepiece is compatible with both 1.25" and 2" focusers without requiring adapters.
A built-in M43 thread allows photographic projection, and the provided M43/M43 extension adjusts eye position or attaches camera adapters. The eyepiece includes luminescent focal length markings, a safety-kerf barrel design to prevent slipping, and a Cordura holster with focal length clip.
This model is not parfocal with the other Morpheus eyepieces and requires 2.5 mm additional inward focus.
