DESCRIPTION

The Baader Morpheus 14 mm belongs to the premium 76° wide-angle eyepiece series, designed for uncompromised sharpness and contrast across the entire field. Its ~18.5 mm eye relief ensures excellent comfort, even with glasses or in binoviewing setups. The internal optics consist of 8 lenses in 5 groups, including one ED element and two lanthanum lenses, delivering high-contrast, color-faithful images.

The wide 76° apparent field offers a true immersive experience, with a flat and distortion-free image—even in fast focal ratio telescopes. Baader’s Phantom Coating® Group minimizes reflections and optimizes light transmission. The compact, robust body (55 mm max diameter) is optimized for binoviewing and includes safety kerfs instead of traditional undercuts for secure fit.

The Morpheus eyepieces integrate a 1.25" and 2" barrel into a single body, saving back focus and eliminating the need for adapters. A hidden M43 thread enables direct photo/video projection using the Hyperion digital T-ring system for both classic and afocal imaging setups.

Included accessories: M43 extension ring, two eyeguards (foldable and winged), focal length indicator clip, Cordura belt pouch, and dust caps. All labeling is photo-luminescent for quick identification in the dark.
