Developed with the renowned comet hunter David H. Levy, the MN-152 is a highly corrected Maksutov-Newtonian telescope with a 152 mm aperture and 731 mm focal length. The f/4.8 optical system delivers a flat, coma-free field and exceptional contrast across the entire image.
The spherical primary mirror, fully coated with EMD multi-layer deposition, and the minimal obstruction central design result in excellent brightness and sharpness. This wide-field capability is ideal for extended visual studies of nebulae, clusters, and comets.
Its carbon fiber tube provides thermal and mechanical stability while maintaining low weight. The 2" Crayford focuser with 1:10 reduction ensures smooth and precise focusing. This telescope is built for serious observers looking for performance and portability.
