The Tecnosky APO 80/480 from the OWL series is a high-quality triplet apochromatic refractor, ideal for wide-field astrophotography with demanding sensors. Its optical cell includes an FPL53 element from Ohara (Japan), delivering exceptional chromatic correction on par with top-tier instruments.

With its 385 mm retracted length and 3.9 kg total weight, this refractor is highly portable and perfectly suited for mobile setups or lightweight mounts. The large illuminated field is compatible with APS-C and full-frame sensors with minimal aberration or vignetting.

All optical elements are treated with premium multi-coatings, and each unit is fully assembled, collimated, and tested in Italy, ensuring mechanical alignment and consistent performance.

The scope features a 2.5” rack & pinion focuser with 1:10 dual-speed control, integrated rotating collar, and brass compression ring. It includes a male M63 thread and internal M48 thread, ready for Tecnosky OWL flatteners or reducers (optional).
