Description

The Lunt LS80MT/B1800 R&P is a premium-grade solar telescope designed for professional and experienced users aiming to observe the solar chromosphere in rich detail.

It uses an 80 mm ED apochromatic doublet with FPL-53 glass for excellent chromatic correction. The internal etalon is pressure-tuned to ensure an even, obstruction-free solar image across the field.

The B1800 blocking filter is integrated into a 90° diagonal with T2 and 1.25" connections, making it ideal for visual observation and mid-to-large sensor imaging. The focuser is a precision 2" Rack & Pinion model with a 10:1 fine reduction, allowing for smooth and accurate focusing.

Thanks to its modular design, the LS80MT can be converted into a standard night-use apochromatic refractor with a dedicated conversion kit (ref. 0551330, not included).

The telescope is supplied with a hard transport case, Vixen-type dovetail, tube rings with handle and integrated solar finder, and a user manual.
