Description
The Lunt LS6CaKMDs2 is a compact solar filter module using the Calcium-K wavelength, built into a straight 2-inch extension tube. It allows a conventional refractor to become a solar telescope without any additional accessories.
Thanks to a narrow <2.4 Å bandwidth, it reveals chromospheric features like supergranulation and faculae. While Ca-K is difficult to observe visually, this filter is ideal for solar photography with UV-sensitive cameras.
Designed for refractors up to 100 mm aperture and 540 mm focal length, the module includes a 1.25" eyepiece holder and a T2 thread for cameras.
