Description:
The Baader ND 0.9 neutral density filter with Phantom Group coatings is ideal for reducing brightness in visual observation without compromising image quality. With an optical density of 0.9, it transmits 12.5% of light, equivalent to an 8× attenuation factor.
This version is mounted in a 2" (50.8 mm) cell with male/female M48 threads, allowing easy stacking with other 2" filters such as Baader color filters.
Its precision-polished optical surface maintains full sharpness even when positioned outside the focal point — up to 20–30 cm — making it suitable for use in systems with diagonals or binoculars.
Note: this filter is not a solar safety filter by itself. It must only be used in addition to a certified solar filter for solar observation.
