Description
The Lunt LS12CaKMDd2 is a solar filter module using the Calcium-K line, integrated into a 90° star diagonal. It transforms a conventional refractor telescope into a fully operational Ca-K solar scope.
It allows the observation of the solar chromosphere in Ca-K light, especially faculae and active regions. The Ca-K line is near the visible spectrum limit and not well perceived visually, but it is highly effective in imaging applications.
This version supports refractors up to 100 mm aperture and 1080 mm focal length. It connects to a 2" focuser and includes a 1.25" eyepiece holder and T2 camera thread.
