The Baader H-alpha 2" unmounted (Ø 47.4 mm, 2 mm thickness) f/2 Highspeed Filter (6.5 nm) is built for extremely fast optical systems like the Celestron RASA f/2 astrographs. Specially selected for Baader FCCT filter sliders, it is fully compatible with QHY cameras and similar models.
Optimized for modern CMOS sensors, it also performs excellently with CCD cameras. Its 656.3 nm central wavelength and narrow 6.5 nm bandwidth ensure precise H-alpha transmission for deep-sky imaging of emission nebulae. Reflex-Blocker™ hard coating and planeoptical polishing suppress unwanted reflections, while blackened edges with telescope-side indicator provide stability. The Life-Coat™ sealed protection ensures long durability. Lightweight (0.01 kg) and durable, it is sold as a single filter for high-performance astrophotography.
