Baader CMOS-Optimized 2" Narrowband Filter Set H-a/O-III/S-II

Description:
The Baader CMOS-Optimized 6.5 nm Narrowband Filter Set (Ref. 2961385) includes three precision filters—H-alpha, O-III and S-II—designed specifically for modern CMOS sensors. Each filter is mounted in a 2" (M48) low-profile 6 mm threaded cell for maximum compatibility with most filter wheels.

Using Baader's advanced Reflex-Blocker™ and Life-Coat™ technologies, these filters ensure high contrast and minimal halos, even under adverse optical conditions. All edges are blackened, and an optical face indicator helps prevent stray light reflections.

With a 6.5 nm bandwidth, these filters allow effective imaging under moderately light-polluted skies and balanced exposures across channels. They support f/10 to f/3.5 optical systems.

Warning: These 6.5 nm H-alpha filters are not suitable for solar observation with the naked eye. They do not replace dedicated solar H-alpha filters (such as SolarSpectrum, starting at 0.8 Å). Photographic solar use is only possible with additional safety measures.

Technical specifications:
– Type: H-alpha, O-III, S-II filters
– Bandwidth (FWHM): 6.5 nm
– Size: 2" (M48) x 2 mm
– Mount: Low-profile filter cell (6 mm)
– Coating: Reflex-Blocker™, Life-Coat™
– Edge: Blackened with lead-side indicator
– CMOS / CCD compatible
– Optical range: f/10 to f/3.5
– Optical thickness: parfocal with other Baader filters

Additional information:
Each filter is individually coated, polished and sealed to ensure durability. Not cut from a larger coated sheet—this guarantees maximum quality control.
