DESCRIPTION
This new generation Baader UV IR Cut filter is optimized for modern CMOS sensors. Supplied in a 2" mounted version with M48 thread, it easily fits most standard focusers and accessories.
With a passband of 420–685 nm and 98% transmission in the visible range, the filter effectively blocks unwanted UV and IR radiation, preventing star bloating and improving sharpness, especially in red-sensitive sensors.
Reflex-Blocker and Life-Coat technologies reduce halos and ensure long-lasting durability, even under harsh environmental conditions or repeated cleanings. Each filter is individually coated, with blackened edges and a telescope-side indicator for correct orientation.
Compatible with fast optics (from f/15 down to f/1.8), the filter supports well-balanced RGB exposures and is parfocal with other Baader filters thanks to its standard thickness.
