Description
The iOptron HAE16C mount offers an exceptional combination of lightweight portability, advanced engineering and precise tracking. Designed for mobile astronomers or compact observatory setups, it features a strain wave gear (harmonic drive) on the RA axis and a backlash-free belt system on the DEC axis. Despite weighing only 2.6 kg, the HAE16C can carry up to 8.2 kg without a counterweight.

This version includes the Go2Nova 8411 hand controller with OLED display, giving full access to a comprehensive GoTo system and thousands of celestial objects. Built-in electronics include an electronic friction brake on the RA axis, zero position sensors on both axes, dual USB-C ports for firmware and control, and onboard Wi-Fi for wireless operation via PC or smartphone.

Its precision-machined all-metal housing ensures long-term reliability and stability. The mount can be used in both equatorial and alt-azimuth modes, making it a flexible and powerful solution for visual observers and traveling astrophotographers.
