DESCRIPTION

The Avalon M-Zero is a GoTo mount designed for advanced imaging and portability. Weighing just 5.5 kg, it is extremely transportable and perfect for air travel. It handles payloads of 10 kg for visual use and 8 kg for photography.

Capable of equatorial and alt-azimuth operation, the mount tracks objects without meridian flip. With the Dual-DEC system, you can mount a second telescope, for setups up to 13 kg total.

Driven by high-precision toothed belts, the system eliminates backlash and delivers smooth, predictable tracking—ideal for guiding.

The European-made StarGo controller offers extensive connectivity: ST-4, DSLR, USB, two AUX ports, and support for motor focusers. It can be operated via PC (ASCOM) or Wi-Fi from a smartphone or tablet.

This version also includes motorized polar alignment, simplifying and improving the mount setup.

Included is a height-adjustable T-Pod 90 tripod with Arca-Swiss compatible dovetail clamp.
