DESCRIPTION
The GSO 16" Dobsonian (406/1829 mm) is a large-aperture visual telescope with a Truss (Serrurier) collapsible structure for easier transport.
Its altazimuth mount uses ball-bearing supports for smooth movement in altitude and azimuth. The primary mirror is supported on an 18-point flotation cell and includes a cooling fan for faster thermal stabilization.
It comes with a 2" Crayford focuser with 1:10 micro-reduction, a 8x50 finder, two eyepieces: a GSO SuperView 30 mm 65° (2") and a GSO Super Plössl 9 mm, and a lunar filter.
